Jurek Sikorski started his career in sales in the pharmaceuticals industry becoming top sales person from which he advanced through product management and business development roles with Abbott and Bristol Myers. Jurek went on to co-found Boots-Celltech becoming the Commercial Director before leading the business to become a global organisation selling to over 40 countries. Following exit Jurek went on to become Sales & Marketing Director at Smith & Nephew, a FTSE 100 company after which he served as CEO of UK LSE main market listed Proteus International Plc and later Cantab Pharmaceuticals Plc, spin outs from Manchester University and the University of Cambridge respectively. After exiting Jurek joined the founding team at SRS Technology as CEO leading it to a successful IPO listing on the UK LSE Alternative Investment Market. Jurek has also held chairman and NED roles at several UK start-up tech companies. As Director of HELAB, he supports students and alumni to start and grow businesses through mentoring and funding via a range of programmes and was founder of Henley Business Angels.
