Keep the conversations going between the Pitch Event and the Summer Party. A short, beautiful walk from Green Park to Reading Football Club, where the evening begins.
Approximately 1 km through the natural grounds of Green Park on hard-standing pathways, with a couple of bridges and steps along the way. The line below follows a GPS-tracked walk of the actual route.

Gather after the Pitch Event at the Reception, 100 Longwater Avenue.
Cross the footbridge between the lakes, then follow the hard-standing pathways around the western shore.
Cross the Brook Drive corridor. There are a couple of bridges and steps along the way.
Arrive at the Select Car Leasing Stadium ready for the Summer Party.
The walk is approximately 1 km through the lovely natural grounds of Green Park on hard-standing pathways. There are a couple of bridges and steps along the way.
Please only take part if it is safe and healthy for you to do so.
Very high temperatures are possible on 7th July. If you plan to join the walk, bring a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle. Additional water will be provided.
Please only join if you are healthy and happy to walk approximately 30 minutes in heat. Walkers take part at their own risk. If conditions are not appropriate on the day, the walk may be cancelled.
This is an optional part of the day. If you'd rather make your own way to the Summer Party at Reading Football Club, that is absolutely fine.
