Professor Keiichi Nakata is Head of Digitalisation, Marketing and Entrepreneurship (DME) at Henley Business School. He is also Director of Informatics Research Centre and Director of the World of Work Institute (AI & Automation). His main research interests lie at the interface between technology and people, in the areas of AI, digital transformation, cognitive systems engineering and information systems. He engages in multi-disciplinary projects encompassing business, computer science, health, environment, and more recently in agriculture, and has led a number of successful collaborative projects with industry, and has worked internationally, having held senior academic positions in Germany and Japan. He is also a member of the steering group for the Thames Valley AI Hub.
